This year’s edition provided a platform for young and aspiring writers to shine. SIEL showcased the remarkable talent of Abir Azim, a 14-year-old writer who signed her latest book "Sun the Size of a Palm”.

Over the course of 11 days, the International Publishing Book Fair showcased renowned literary icons such as Abdelfattah Kilito, Mahi Benbine, Fouad Laaroui, Rahma Bourqia...and the list goes on.

The event paid heartfelt tributes to influential figures who have left an indelible mark such as Touriya Jabrane, Abderahman Yousfi, and Michel Rakotoson.

The National football team of Morocco, accompanied by their coach Walid Regragi, made a special visit to the International Publishing Book Fair, adding to the grandeur of the event. Their presence at the fair further emphasized the diverse interests and passions that unite people. Ayman Bouhbouh, a surgeon doctor, and newfound literary enthusiast signed his book “Li al ola Saaya” (Pursuit of the Height) inspired by the success they achieved in the Qatar World Cup, as well as the values and notions of nationality and solidarity witnessed during this period.

From the moment the doors opened to the final day, visitors were treated to a panoply of literary exhibitions, book signings, panel discussions, and cultural activities. The fair curated a diverse program catered to a wide range of literary interests, ensuring that all visitors find something to engage their imagination and intellect.

Ibrahim, a Moroccan student from the USA declares “It’s a very nice exposition, I feel proud to be Moroccan and to be a part of this, I like that there’s a lot of choices, I like that this year it’s more inclusive for people from different backgrounds so that everyone can find something they are interested in.”
