From ISIC’s side, the Director Mr Abdellatif  Bensfia was present with Mr Abdessamad Motie,

Mr Bensfia and Mr Mounir Bensaleh, the General Secretary of the National Council of Human Rights, signed the agreement. Mr Bensfia was very pleased by this promising partnership that will bring ISIC and CNDH close together.

He is very hopeful that this partnership will be maintained on the long term. After the signature, a conference was held about Digital citizenship and human rights, in the presence of Mr Motie, Ms Ikram Belabass and Mr Mustapha Mrizek.

The presence of the CNDH at SIEL 2022 is a perfect embodiment of their efforts and strategies for a smooth transition to digital citizenship. The conference was mainly about access to information, the right to it, and the ethical use of the world.

“Web citizenship is changing with many variables; we have the means to hold a national conference at ISIC to discuss this topic in more details” stated Mr Abdessamad Motie.

We concluded from this gathering that digital citizenship as a notion is close to human rights, and that these rights should be preserved so that the citizens, get to practice their citizenships digitally and in real life.
