The panel started by the introduction of Dr Driss EL Guerraoui talking about the new global challenges. The overall new changes either technological and sociological make us in need to rethink again about the democratic institutions and ogranisations that would answer the best our global human aspirations.
The global order has been questioned by Mr Leonardo Curzio Guiterez, mexican journalist. The new powers emerging in the world, especially China, are changing the global balance and the overall economic diaspora. Till, their diplomatic interferences in different crises is still very soft, with a clear absence of position in global political questions.
Mr Allioune Sall, member of the Moroccan Royal Academy, sees nowadays global situation as a deeper falling of the two classical ideologies that has been shaping the world before, capitalisme and socialisme. He went back in his evaluation to demographic ans sociologic approaches to understand this global mouvement. According to Mr Sall, the world became “apolar”, with an increasing fear of the “Apocalypse”, and a rising awareness of the need to control even the smallest nuclear eventual wars. “Investing in Humanity, in others, is the key to exist ourself” concluded Allioune Sall.
