Under the chairmanship of King Mohammed VI, Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency affiliated to Al Quds Comittee, organized at the International Publishing Book Fair, an annual prize for drawing and painting for students between 9 and 14 years old.
The competition aims to raise awareness about the Holy City’s status and Al Aqsa Mosque, among young people. The objective of this competition is to anchor the importance of preserving religious buildings in the city as a symbol of coexistence and peace among the three religions.
Morocco’s and Palestine’s hymnes echoed at the International Publishing Book Fair as an opening to the Award Ceremony, with the presence of the Director of Bayt Mal Al Qods Al Sharif Agency, Mr Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, President of the Higher Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research, Mr Habib El Malki and the minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mr Mehdi Bensaid, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports Mr Chakib Benmoussa. They insisted on Morocco’s position for a Ceasefire and a promotion for tolerance and coexistence.
The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports and Bayt Mal Al Qods Al Sharif signed a partnership agreement to arrange activities for Palestinian and Moroccan students, allowing them to help each other and exchange visits.
