In a booth dedicated to Fatima Mernissi, decorated with photographs, quotes, and books of hers the event entitled "Writing in the Feminine: Testimonials on Fatima Mernissi" was held.

During this gathering, the two witnesses Jamila Hassoun, a Moroccan cultural activist, and Fatema Noug, a journalist and women's rights activist led the discussion starting with a bibliography of Fatima Mernissi, from her early works to her most influential books such as "Beyond the Veil: Male-Female Dynamics in Muslim Societies”.
