Author and Professor Driss Ferar presented his newest book at the Youth, Culture and Communication Ministry’s hall during SIEL 2026. Titled “Can Culture Save the World: The Nerve of Peace”, the work examines the relationship between culture, leadership, and global peace and stability.

The book explores how culture can contribute to rethinking peace, especially in times of crisis. For the author, culture is not simply one element among others, but a fundamental dimension of human existence.

According to Ferar, “culture offers solutions to many global challenges. It can enhance leadership practices, strengthen social cohesion, and promote more human-centered societies.”

In this context, he highlights the importance of the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, describing it as a model that promotes dialogue, peace, and coexistence.

The book also addresses the concept of cultural intelligence, alongside economic and artificial intelligence, emphasizing their growing role in understanding today’s complex world.
